Lighting Design Considerations for Healing Environment – A Prescription for Healthcare, presented by Jersey’s own Tommy Nichols, LC.

Summary:
Healthcare spaces have unique lighting needs, both for patients and healthcare professionals. This presentation will discuss various areas within a healthcare setting, both inpatient and outpatient facilities, and review the lighting needs, design considerations and techniques, and current trends as they relate to both the patient and the caretaker. 1.0 hour, 1.0 credit (Attendance certificate to be emailed after event).

Speaker:
Tommy Nichols, LC, is the Sales Director for Healthcare Lighting and Luminaire LED, Acuity Brands divisions specializing in vandal resistant, confinement, behavioral health, healthcare, and pathogen reduction solutions. Tommy has grown into his role as Sales Director as a 9 year professional in the lighting industry, with areas of interest in behavioral health lighting, the needs of healthcare specialty spaces, pathogen reduction solutions to make people feel safer in their environment, and a dedication to developing solutions to expedite patient healing.
